High-performance double-head cutting off machines

From the wide range of products of the German producer Elumatec, represented in Italy by Elumatec Italia (www.elumatec.it), we have selected its double-head cutting off machines, which feature a cast iron frame with round worktable that is capable of assuring effective support for efficient and accurate cutting. The range includes models DG 79, DG 104, DG 142 and DG 244, the latter being the true flagship model of the Elumatec range of cutting off machines with upward working traverse. It assures that the work surface is free of any obstacles on the loading of profiles, whilst also assuring maximum cutting capacity. As we have already said, the cutting off machine is characterized by excellent cutting capacity, with the rotation and inclination of cutting wheels, which permits the cutting of large size profiles both in terms of height and width. The measurement of the external cut can be undertaken with any cutting angle, without requiring any prior calculations and also permits both combined and/or special cuts. The machine features integral protection of the cutting area and is standard fitted with cutting wheels of 550 mm in diameter. The lu
ation system is the impulse type.
The main technical features include: minimum cutting length at 90° of 345 mm, minimum cutting length at 45° of 345 mm (inclined), automatic-pneumatic 90°-45° rotation (up to 22.5° internal and 140° external in manual mode with digital display), internal pneumatic inclination of 90° – 45° (intermediate angles with manual shift and with digital display), speed of 2,250 rpm, three-phase voltage 230 / 400 V, 3~, 50 Hz. The cutting off machine is available with a length of 4,500 or 6,000 mm. The DG 244 M version features a single-block bed with hydro-pneumatic cutting wheel, profile lifting during traverse, software for cutting optimization with E 555 unit for step by step and overrun cuts. The profile support may be either manual or automatic type with special vices, rabbet for transom end cutting and bar cutting, shavings suction, loading and unloading roller tables. This machine is also available in a version with electronic positioning.
